The display panel should be flush with the device surface (or slightly raised by ≤2mm), creating a seamless "device-screen" appearance. Embedded displays are typically installed from the inside, supporting bezel clips and standard VESA mounting holes on the back. Sealed Protection: The area where the display housing meets the device mounting slot features a built-in waterproof sealant (mostly made of silicone, temperature-resistant from -40°C to 80°C). Some high-protection models feature a double seal design, achieving an IP65 dust and water resistance rating, suitable for use within enclosed equipment environments.
Fixed Clip Structure: The housing edge features embedded clips or screw holes. External displays, in contrast to built-in displays, typically feature a flat front panel design, but with a very narrow bezel (usually around 3mm). The front panel is typically made of aluminum alloy. The display is typically mounted from the outside and then from the back. Therefore, it's important to clearly understand the cutout dimensions for both external and built-in displays.
The back of an external display is essentially the same as that of a built-in display.
The typical application scenarios are largely the same as for built-in displays, with only the mounting method being different.
