Connection and command issues between smart cabinet lock control board and electromagnetic lock

As the core control component of the smart cabinet system, the lock control panel accurately manages the switch and status feedback of the electromagnetic lock through electrical signals, realizing the automation, remoteness and security management of the cabinet. Its application in various smart cabinets not only improves operational efficiency, but also enhances security and user experience.

The lock control panel is widely used in express cabinets, vending cabinets, food cabinets, laundry cabinets, storage cabinets, wardrobes, bicycle cabinets and other smart cabinets with electromagnetic locks.

Common smart cabinet lock control panels are roughly divided into two categories according to the communication method: 1. Lock control panels that support network, WiFi/BT. 2. Lock control panels that communicate through RS485/TTL. The second type is more common and the most widely used.

Control and status management of lock control. Conventional lock control panels support 12 channels, 24 channels, 32 channels (such as Dewo SK24 lock control panels can independently control 24 cabinet doors), etc. The lock control panel can manage up to more than one thousand cabinet doors through cascade expansion (supporting up to 32 panels) to meet the needs of large-scale storage or express cabinets.

Usually the lock control panel is connected to the host computer (mainboard or touch all-in-one computer) via RS485, and the control app is run on the host computer. The software controls the opening of the cabinet door through instructions. Of course, according to customer needs or application scenario requirements, the lock panel can be connected to object detection sensors, temperature sensors, etc. The host computer can connect to the cloud server through wifi, network, etc., so as to realize remote control of multiple smart cabinets.

The instructions of each lock control panel are different, so if you need to replace the lock control panel, the software needs to be re-adapted, which brings a lot of trouble to many customers.
