A New Smart Ski Resort Experience – Modern Electronic Locks and Lock Control Boards Revolutionize Ski Locker Management
In the wave of digital and intelligent upgrades in the ski industry, service experience and operational efficiency have become core competitive advantages for ski resorts. Traditional locker key management not only suffers from pain points such as queuing for retrieval and return, lost keys, and cumbersome manual supervision, but also struggles to meet the demands of digital operations in ski resorts. Modern electronic lock solutions, with lock control boards at their core, are fundamentally reconstructing the control and management logic of ski lockers, creating a more efficient, convenient, and reliable storage service experience for smart ski resorts.
What is the Locks Control Board?
The locks control board is the core control module embedded inside the locker. For communication connectivity, mainstream lock control boards connect to a host computer (Android/Windows/Linux motherboard, Touch Screen all-in-one computer, etc.) via an RS485 interface. Some models support TCP/IP protocol and can also achieve local control via a microcontroller. The host computer can be flexibly deployed according to the ski resort's needs, supporting both TCP/IP remote cloud control and local standalone operation without network connectivity.
In terms of functionality, the lock control board serves a dual role of "command transmission" and "status feedback": on the one hand, it accurately receives commands from the host computer for unlocking, lighting, and infrared sensing, and simultaneously sends them to peripherals such as Electric Locks, lighting, and infrared sensors, achieving precise device linkage; on the other hand, it collects real-time operational feedback data from the lock body, lights, and infrared sensors, and uploads it to the host computer, making every operation traceable and monitorable, ensuring the stable operation of the locker system.
Revolutionizing Ski Resort Locker Management: The pain point of traditional ski locker management lies in the substitution of "human control" for "intelligent control." The combination of the lock control board and electromagnetic locks achieves a comprehensive upgrade of ski resort lockers from two dimensions: user experience and operational management. It truly achieves seamless integration with the existing digital system of the ski resort, creating an integrated intelligent management system.
Multiple unlocking methods to meet all ski resort needs. Abandoning the single key unlocking method, the lock control board supports multiple unlocking methods including QR code, RFID wristband, membership card, password, and mobile APP. This eliminates the need to queue for keys at the front desk, significantly reducing waiting time during peak hours and improving the ski resort experience.

Simultaneously, the system automatically generates an electronic operation log, recording the time, locker number, and unlocking method for each lock. This log can be linked to the ski resort's monitoring system, enabling "operational traceability and tracking." This effectively enhances the locker's anti-theft capabilities, allowing users to store their skis, ski clothing, and other equipment with peace of mind.
The DEWO locks control board is made from wide-temperature-range industrial materials. From hardware design to manufacturing processes, it is fully adapted to the stringent usage requirements of the ski resort, providing stable and reliable hardware support for the locker system.
The integrated electromagnetic lock supports normal operation at -30℃, ensuring smooth unlocking and a stable lock body even in the harsh winter conditions of northern ski resorts, preventing jamming or malfunction due to low temperatures. The circuit board is coated with a three-proof paint, effectively isolating it from moisture, snow, and dust, preventing short circuits and oxidation, and significantly extending the module's lifespan. It features a one-button unlocking function; in special circumstances, operators can unlock multiple locks via a backend or local emergency button.
Currently, DEWO, leveraging its mature lock control board + electronic lock solution, supplies various types of ski storage cabinets, ski racks, and other supporting products to major ski resorts. Products can be customized according to the size of the ski resort, usage requirements, and digital system layout, truly achieving "design on demand and seamless integration," making smart lockers an important part of the ski resort's digital upgrade.
